Give to The Fraternity
Chapters of Delta Kappa were successful across the country since the National Fraternity's inception. The Fraternity was ground strong until 1953 when the New York State Supreme Court ruled that all nationally-affiliated fraternities and sororities at state-owned institutions would be required to localize. Because so many of the chapters of the Fraternity were focused in New York, the National Office eventually would close because of the loss of its flagship chapters. Chapters would eventually either localize, close, or be consolidated into other national fraternities outside of New York.
Despite this challenge, the Gamma Chapter of Delta Kappa (Oswego) was able to localize and continue to thrive. Even after all these years, the men of Delta Kappa Kappa remember our foots and the founders of our organization. As new information and other important documents are brought to light about the National Fraternity, we will continue to provide it through this website.
